The Amiga timeline
1984: Commodore acquires Amiga Computer Inc.
1985: Amiga launched in the United States – later renamed the Amiga 1000.
1986: Amiga 1000 launched in PAL countries (United Kingdom, Australia), Amiga 2000 launched.
1987: Amiga 500 launched, redesigned Amiga 2000 launched.
1990: Amiga 3000 launched.
1991: Amiga 3000 Tower, CDTV and Amiga 500 plus launched.
1992: Amiga 600, Amiga 1200 and Amiga 4000 launched.
1993: Amiga CD32 launched.
1994: Amiga 4000 Tower launched. Commodore declares bankruptcy.
